Hi there. And welcome back to the Super Mom Coach blog. In this week’s episode I want to touch on a topic from my audio book, How to Raise Amazing Children. In chapter 4 of my audio book, I talk about tapping into your child’s natural talents.

For those of you who are new to my blog, let me introduce myself. My name is Tiffany Simpson and I am a parenting coach and Super Mom to a 13 year old animation developer with autism.

My journey as Super Mom became apparent after my son’s diagnosis. It was during this challenge that I taught myself to create computer games and mobile apps. I used the apps to help him overcome challenges with his speech and social skills. The results were amazing. Today he has a business in animation development and has authored his first animation development course. If you would like to learn more about our journey, please check out my about page.

Back to the Discussion

In my audio book, “How to Raise Amazing Children”, I talk about how to foster your child’s natural talent. For the past 6 years, my son Jayden Simpson has taken up animation development as a hubby. He has also been teaching it as part of his business.

Recently, he has taken up music as a hubby. He discovered the Garage Band app on his iPad. He has been using it to produce very realistic (music) beats, which he intends to use in his animations.

He also got a copy of the very popular piano course, Piano for All. He is an affiliate for the program, which he promotes on his YouTube Channel. Don’t forget to subscribe to get the latest updates.

So as part of my YouTube content (and also my audio book), we have started #MusicMondays to showcase the strategies outlined in the audio book. If you have not yet gotten a copy of the audio book, click here. You can then follow along with the strategies outlined in the audiobook. Don’t forget to check out my resource page to get a list of all the tools I am using to raise my amazing little boy.

Yesterday, we recorded the very first #MusicMonday, which was also his first lesson with the Piano for All course. He did very well, in fact he might even be a music genius. Here is a short video clip. What do you think?

Then later that day, he did a little session on the drum simulator and this was the result of that.

I am also a music genius. So there might be some genes to justify how he caught on so quickly. However, my son only seemed to have an interest or inclination towards music after he discovered the Garage Band app on his iPad. He never seemed to have been interested before then. And that is the reason of this blog post. We are helping parents to find their child(ren)’s “hidden” talent. And using those as a communication tool to help parents raise amazing children.

Since the pandemic, many parents felt lost trying to navigate parenting full time and create meaningful activities for their children outside the scope of academics. It has been quite a burden on parents to navigate the day without feeling guilty. But, this pandemic has open our eyes about what is important in this life. And moving forward, it is important that we invest in our children and not just in things to occupy them.

Many parents were surprised that a lot of things they have invested in for their children, really did not hold much weight or value during a lock down. And while quarantine is not a way of life, we got a chance to see value that was not attached to material things.

In moving forward, it is important that we as parents add value to our child(ren)’s life, that is not attached to these material things. And my audio book is a great tool to help you start (blatant sales pitch) —> and the link for your to download the audiobook is here. The price will go up soon. I am adding a weekly schedule and starting FREE weekly parenting classes on Google Classroom (price increase trigger for you to buy NOW). So again, if you have not yet gotten a copy of the audio book, please click here to do so.
